The product

Here's how it looks in a grooming salon

The booking page is what an owner opens from the link in your bio. Your calendar is where the booking lands by itself. Both sides of one booking.

Three pains of a grooming salon

01
Taking bookings by phone between dogs
Your hands are on a dog and the phone rings. You call back an hour later — and half the owners have already booked wherever someone picked up straight away.
02
“I forgot we were today”
A two to three hour package is reserved and the table is prepped — and the owner simply doesn't arrive. Filling that slot within an hour isn't realistic: most people plan grooming well ahead.
03
The pet's quirks live in the groomer's memory
Who's scared of the dryer, who mustn't go short, who reacts to a shampoo, when the last cut was — it all sits in one groomer's head. When a different shift works, the history starts from zero.
One day

A groomer's day with Domovleno

Not a feature list — what actually happens over a day while you hold the dryer and scissors, not the phone.

9:00
The day's schedule, in front of you
The day at a glance: hygiene grooms, full grooms, nail trims. Every pet's quirks — right there in their card.
11:20
A new booking — by itself, no phone call
An owner picked a full groom and a time on the booking page — it's already in the calendar. You were blow-drying a Pomeranian.
13:00
Reminders went out on their own
Tomorrow's owners got their reminders. Whoever can't bring their pet cancels in advance — and the window frees up.
16:40
Reschedules without the phone calls
The owner moved the booking to a free time via their own link. The calendar updated, the reminders rescheduled themselves.
19:30
Day closed — the numbers in front of you
Revenue, visits and no-shows for the day — in analytics. You can see which regulars are due for their next groom.
A sample day

A day in a grooming salon: five services at one table

The table shows how short services alternate with long ones without overlap, thanks to the cleanup buffer between bookings.

TimeServiceDurationTypical price
9:00Nail trim20 min₴150–250
9:30Ear cleaning15 min₴100–200
10:00Hygiene groom1 h₴500–800
11:15De-shedding1 h₴600–900
12:30Full groom: bath & cut2 h 30 min₴1,200–1,800

Durations and prices are illustrative — typical for the niche, not a statistic or a price list. Your own menu will differ; the table only shows how a day lands in the schedule.

What Domovleno does

Grooming booking that works for you

Reminders people turn up after

A confirmation right after booking, then a 24-hour and a 2-hour reminder — email, SMS or messengers. Whoever can't make it cancels in advance, so you can offer the slot to someone else.

Online payment at booking

For long packages or new clients, enable payment at booking via Ukrainian payment providers: the money goes straight to your account, and your acquirer (mono or LiqPay) can issue the fiscal receipt from your own PRRO once fiscalization is set up.

The money goes straight to your account via Ukrainian payment providers — Domovleno never holds it. Your acquirer (mono or LiqPay) can issue the fiscal receipt once fiscalization is set up.

Booking 24/7 — no phone calls

Owners pick the groomer, service and time on your booking page — in the evening, on a weekend, while you're working with a pet. Every service has its own duration: twenty minutes for nails, two and a half hours for a full groom.

Client cards with history and quirks

Name, breed, every past visit and notes — “scared of the dryer”, “no shorter than 6 mm”, “reacts to that shampoo” — in one card. On Pro, groomers see their own clients' cards, and the notes once you enable them in access settings.

Groomer schedules and analytics

Each groomer's shifts, days off and vacations in one calendar, with a buffer between bookings for cleaning the table. Analytics shows occupancy, revenue and no-show share by day and groomer — on every plan.

Questions from grooming salon owners

We have several groomers working at the same time at different tables. Can each one have their own schedule?

Yes. Every groomer has their own calendar: shifts, days off, vacations, all set separately. On Pro, each groomer gets their own app login, and the owner decides what the team sees — just their own day or colleagues' busy times too. When booking, clients pick a specific groomer or “first available”, and the booking lands in the right schedule automatically, with no mix-up between tables.

Price depends on the dog's size and breed. Can I show different prices for the same service?

There's no built-in breed or weight calculator for pricing. Instead, it's practical to create separate services for each typical size — “Full groom, small” and “Full groom, large” — each with its own duration and price. The owner sees the right option straight away on the booking page and picks it themselves, so you don't have to explain pricing over the phone every time.

Most of our clients come from Instagram. Can they book straight from there?

Yes. The booking page has its own link, which you can add to your Instagram bio or pin in a story — an owner taps it and immediately sees your services, groomers and open times. The booking is confirmed instantly, with no need to switch apps or make a call. The same link works for your website or direct messages too.

We sometimes handle anxious or aggressive pets. How do we warn the next groomer if it's a different shift?

Through notes in the client card: you can write “anxious, go slowly” or “bites, needs a muzzle” right next to the pet's name and visit history. On Pro, turn on notes in the access settings, and the groomer the pet is booked with sees them in their app. The information doesn't get lost between staff or rely on being passed on verbally at shift change.

In summer everyone wants de-shedding and a short cut at once — how do I avoid booking more than I can actually handle?

The system won't let you overbook beyond what a service's duration and the calendar's free time allow: if a full groom takes two and a half hours, the next slot opens only after that, including the cleanup buffer. Owners only see genuinely open windows on the booking page, so the day doesn't fill up past capacity even in peak season.

We have a dog trainer at our salon. Can clients book lessons — and what about courses and groups?

Yes: the trainer is one more specialist with their own schedule, and lessons are separate services, such as “1:1 lesson, 60 min” or “Lesson at home”. A 10-lesson course isn't sold as a package: the trainer puts the next lessons in the calendar, and the client gets a reminder for each one. There are no group classes — one client per slot. The card belongs to the owner: two dogs means one card, with names and quirks in the note; the address for home lessons goes in the note too, because the booking form has no address field.

Honestly about scope: what Domovleno doesn't do

Domovleno is booking, reminders, the client base, online payment and analytics. We don't keep veterinary records, vaccination history or medical notes, and there's no retail or cosmetics stock tracking. A pet's quirks live in the client card's notes — usually enough for a salon that needs order in its schedule and fewer no-shows.

Questions & answers

Groomers' frequent questions

Yes — that's the most common setup. The free plan is enough: a booking page, calendar, client base and confirmations, with nothing to pay. The page takes bookings while you're working with a pet.
